Will there be swelling and bruising?
Swelling and bruising are invertible and will subside in 10 to 14 days.
Will a scar be visible?
A scar is unavoidable but with modern techniques it is very less visible after 1-2 years.
How long Hospitalization is required?
You will have to stay hospitalized for one or two days.
When can normal activities be resumed?
Walking is allowed on the next day od surgery but it might take 2-3 weeks to return to normal activities.
Can stretch marks be treated with this procedure?
No procedure can remove stretch marks over the entire abdomen. A tummy tuck will remove skin on the lower abdomen thus eliminating stretch marks in this area. Stretch marks from upper abdomen are shifted to lower half where they are easily hidden under clothes.
